Guest guest
Amy, and All na had her stints in the first time for 8weeks,(from 6days old), they were changed once during that time to change where they went and size. She had them out for only 6 days. They closed that much, that they went back to the smaller size as well.... They stay in without a problem, she is just having breathing problems as well and they cannot be sure if it's the stints, airway, or lungs now... so we are now contacting pulmonary, (another service that we must have missed (;->). But she is holding her own right now, barely! Thanks for all the support... Let me see - one for my husband to go to work in and one for me to take Ally to her appts in. Yes this definitely makes me wealthy. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Guest guest
, When Kennedy was stinted, she did not breathe out of her nostrils. She still mouth-breathed, and in order to keep her mouth open at times, we had to keep an oral airway in her mouth, which we tied around her head to keep it in. (They usually tape it in all around their mouth, but my hubby came up with a good way to tie it, less painful). After she learned to mouth breathe decent when she was awake, we would take it out, but she would close her mouth up when she was drifting off to sleep and block her airway. Then, we would put the airway back in. If you want to see a picture of her & her airway, you can at: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/5716/kkairway.html Hope you get things figured out soon, Mom to Kennedy 21 mos old CHARGEr, 10, 8, and wife to Graeme New Brunswick, Canada Visit the " Weir homepage " at: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/5716 ICQ #1426476 Re: SSI and INS.
