Guest guest
My gray-haired friend started taking Cortef six months ago to get her adrenals working. Her thyroid was low so she started Cortef to keep the thyroid meds from weakening the adrenals further. Slowly, the temps are coming up and she is raising the thyroid. She feels better. But why is her hair color coming back???? LynneWho's never won? Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
Guest guest
She's supporting her adrenals...I think there's a relationship between low cortisol and depigmenting hair. It may also have to do with her DHEA. I think Teitelbaum wrote something about that...relationship between low DHEA and gray hair...and when DHEA rises, hair can sometime repigment. I remember when I started Iodoral, some of my gray hair repigmented. BUt also, my new hair growth (which started after treating low aldosterone) is dark brown, and growing in my gray patches. Er, it's the rest of my hair coming back in... Sam > > > > My gray-haired friend started taking Cortef six months ago to get her > adrenals working.
