Guest guest
Good Morning Janet: That was so familiar about what you said about Nigel. We had a little Cocker Spaniel named Rusty. He was sixteen when he started getting like that. He couldn't hear, he couldn't see very well but like Nigel he sure knew where his food dish and bones were. He also knew where the cat's dish was and he was forever trying to sneak over and eat the cat's food. He kept going for walks with the other dogs but got to where he couldn't go very far. I would take him back to the house and then go out again with the other dogs. For a Cocker Spaniel he sure was a sweet dogs. I have had people tell me they are not very good pets but he sure was. He was good around babies and good with other dogs. He was so sweet when he would come to greet you instead of wagging his tail he wagged his whole behind. He died Christmas morning last year. That was a sad year for pets we had to have a cat put to sleep (Spanky) his kidneys failed. We had our Lab mix put to sleep and Rusty died at home during the night. Of course they were all old but we still missed them Well I have to go get ready for Sunday School and Church. I hope everyone has a wonderful day - Shirley**************Start the year off right.
