Guest guest
Andy, LOL... Break down at 40? ...Yikes! I can only imagine what might happen at 50? ...60? To fly in the face of that ill placed (fall apart at 40) logic, I can honestly say that I felt better in my late 40's than I did in my 20's. ...And, I was better prepared mentally, physically, spiritually, & emotionally than I have been in a long, long time. Sure I had my share of oops's including torn muscles, tendons, joints, pinched nerves, and more, but, overall, without the better eating and continued exercise, I would have moved much closer to an early " permanent " retirement, if you catch my drift. Of course, with my series of compounded crises last year, I fell far off my 4 year the BFL wagon, but, not so far where I can't look forward to continued progress in 2008. 2008 is my year of re-introduction to my BFL program and, as I look forward to the even bigger five-o, I expect to be in better shape by year end than I was in my late 40's. I may have reached my plateau in muscle growth, but, there are lots and lots of other areas that are left for improvment in the decades after we hit 30. So... Look out, everyone, I am back in the BFL fold. Happy 2008, Remember... " Progress, NOT perfection! "
