Guest guest
Thank you so much Courage, Please let her know that we are with her in spirit. How did her mood seem?Keeping her in constant thought and sending up prayers. Ron Update on Sandie Hi All, Just spoke briefly to Sandie. She is in the hospital and they are going to keep her for at least 24 hours. She has been receiving some meds so lets hope and pray that it helps. And yes, it is her heart that is giving her and us some concern here. We had to end our conversation because staff came in to do something but I am waiting for her call. Keep the prayers coming and hopefully she will be ok and we will get to see her on Friday. Guest guest
Hi Ron, She sounded really tired and unfortunately we didn't get into how she is feeling emotionally yet but I would imagine that this is scary stuff. I will ask her how she is holding up when she calls back. I told her that everyone is thinking about her and keeping her in their prayers. Her BP was way too high and her heart was racing. I'll post more details as I get them Courage Update on Sandie Hi All, Just spoke briefly to Sandie. She is in the hospital and they are going to keep her for at least 24 hours. Guest guest
I've been told by every ER that I've ever had to use for my heart issues that it's standard procedure to keep them for 24 hours, I hope all is well with her and even more than hoping I've been praying for God to keep His hand on her and give wisdom and insight to the doctor and staff. Thank you for the update, Courage, I will continue to watch for the next one! Guest guest
I hope by now she is feeling better and ready to " get out and go. " They can't be too careful, though. Sending good wishes and prayers for both her and Ron as they struggle through the problems. Guest guest
I called Sandie and she is sounding upbeat, but knows her limitations and will stay in the hospital as long as needed to recover. She is hoping to be out of the hospital by tomorrow and able to go to the gathering, but knows if she needs more time to recover she will take it. She said her heart rate was up to 90 and it is normally at 70 and her blood pressure was high and she felt like vomiting in the beginning. They took her heart rate down and BP with a nitrogel patch and also gave her an IV and she is no longer nauseated. She said she still has trouble getting breath. Her oxygen level is good and she is not on oxygen, but feels like she has to breath in deep to catch her breath. OMG! We were joking about the " Lemon Drop " Mixer. She was on a mission to find the " Lemon Drop " mixer for my notorious " Lemon Drop " that I have made the official LBD gathering drink, because it symbolizes: " When life passes out Lemons make Lemonade out of it " It is a glorified Lemonade drink. It is a martini. She was determined to find the mixer. I hope it wasn't the stress of the " Lemon Drop " hunt that did this to her. They better be good " Lemon Drop " drinks. After all this, I hope they are worth all the trouble she went through to find the mixer. In California, you can find the mixer wherever you go. Just before we ended our conversation flowers were delivered to her room, by her brother I think and her dinner was served, a nice tasty cardiac dinner of turkey and cottage cheese. I will be thinking of you all at the gathering and I will be praying for Sandie to recover overnight, so she can be at the gathering too. Ron, you are also in my thoughts and prayers for positive news, since the doctor has not concluded the dx of the cause of your issues. Take care all and let all those stresses be set free at the gathering! LUGS! =(Love plus Hugs) Jan
