Hello All,

I have treated leg ulcers before but, I have just had an enquiry

from a patient who attends a weekly ulcer clinic. Their

procedure is to clean the ulcers and apply bandages for the

following week.

My natural question is - how can I determine the effectiveness

of treatment given that I will never see the area being treated?

Perhaps a daft question but, I am sure my colleagues have dealt

with this issue previously...

Thank you for your help,

Benn

Hi Benn

Your patient and the other health professional will know, suggest you make contact - you could also ask them to take a photo...and use a scaling assessment approach..if things improve their interventions will be reviewed also - and it will be a result of the range of interventions but hopefully your herbal input will enhance the current work and speed up resolution and tissue healing..is it venous or arterial?

Good luck

Trudy
