Guest guest
Hello All, I have treated leg ulcers before but, I have just had an enquiry from a patient who attends a weekly ulcer clinic. Their procedure is to clean the ulcers and apply bandages for the following week. My natural question is - how can I determine the effectiveness of treatment given that I will never see the area being treated? Perhaps a daft question but, I am sure my colleagues have dealt with this issue previously... Thank you for your help, Benn
Guest guest
Hi Benn Your patient and the other health professional will know, suggest you make contact - you could also ask them to take a photo...and use a scaling assessment approach..if things improve their interventions will be reviewed also - and it will be a result of the range of interventions but hopefully your herbal input will enhance the current work and speed up resolution and tissue healing..is it venous or arterial?
