Guest guest
I purchased a dry dog food that has no corn in it, I'd say about 4 months ago, and now my dog Courage has no more "hot spots", totally gone, my vet many years ago told me that the dog may be allergic to corn. I have cats and he used to sneak to eat their food, he does not do that any longer, b/c I hide it on him now.Pedigree makes this dog food that I buy, no corn, and my dog is much happier for it. So it was the corn all along that was giving him itchy skin that his fur would show b/c he would chew himself and make it bleed. He is an 8 yr old lab mix. A beautiful kind dog too, Glad that I get this for him.MicheleCorn, soy, and wheat – Not only are they not as nutritious as whole grains, but they are also common dog allergens. If your dog suffers from skin irritations, switching foods is often a big help or even the solution. You’ll also want to avoid other processed grains, such as wheat gluten, gluten, rice flour, and wheat flour. Instead, look for whole grains such as brown rice, barley, and oatmeal. From: Joyce Hudson <bjoyful@...>Subject: [health] Fw: Top 10 Reasons to Banish Soda + Meatless Mondays: 9 New York Restaurants to Get Your Veg On +5 Commercial Dog Food Ingredients to Avoid + more!"Natural Health and Living" <health >Date: Tuesday, August 31, 2010, 11:03 PM Dear Joy Are you still drinking soda and even diet soda?
