Guest guest
chickpeas and tahini -- though if one doesn't know what hummus is, " chickpeas and tahini " probably isn't going to help much either. It's a middle eastern sandwich spread, and comes in a multitude of flavors. (You can get jalapeno hummus, chili pepper hummus, garlic hummus, plain hummus, etc) The two store brands I've tried are Tribe of Two Sheiks and Cedar's. I don't have a preference. I could live on hummus. I spread it often on low-point crackers as a snack, or use it on bread or tortillas in meals. > Hummus is a spread made from chickpeas. > > Guacamole also works good for these sandwiches. 2 Tablespoons - one point! Salsa is great too -- often 0 points > > what IS hummus????

Guest guest
I like Athenos <sp> I'm especially fond of the Spicy Three Peppers, but the original, garlic or black olive is nice too.
