Stannard (NIMH PTB) THE POSTGRADUATE TRAINING BOARD Continuing Professional Development Seminar Programme Schedule III Herbs: Confident Practice A one-day seminar Led by Acott Dip.Phyt. MNIMH and Rodney Young PhD MNIMH The seminar will look at Schedule III herbs in terms of pharmacology, toxicology, clinical practice, and therapeutic dosage. Acott has lectured on Materia Medica at the former College of Phytotherapy, and has been in practice for twelve years. Rodney Young is a lecturer on the BSc Herbal Medicine Programme at Napier University, Edinburgh. He has a background in chemistry and pharmacology. Date: Saturday 2nd February 2008 10.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Registration from 9.30 a.m. Venue: Regent’s College, Regent’s Park, London NW1 4NS (Nearest tube Baker Street.) Tea and coffee will be provided but lunch is not included. Regent’s College has a refectory offering a range of affordable food. NB. This seminar was originally held in Edinburgh in 2007. There are no plans to hold it again after this date.
