Guest guest
Hi All, I wonder if I could bend your collective ears and see if anyone could help me with the above. I have written about this patient before. She is a 42 year old mother of four with bowel cancer with mets to the lung. Her bowel and liver are clear at present however she has four tumours in the right lung and two in the left lung. She is an amazing lady and a wonderful patient. She and her husband have been searching many non-medical routes and has been incredibly open and positive about all of them. She feels very well and optimistic at present and wants to continue searching whilst she feels so well. She has just been given the results of her latest CT scan yesterday which showed the four tumours on the right lung (there were two about six months ago). Her surgeon is suggesting removing 60% of her right lung in the next week, but has told her that will be the final surgery he will be able to perform on that lung. He has also intimated to her that many other patients would not choose surgery and would just leave it be and let nature take its course. is incredibly realistic about her cancer but wants to exhaust all options before taking that route. She has the incentive of four children under the age of 11. We have read about the Budwig diet and I was wondering if anyone had any experience/knowledge/advice about it. Our original concern when we read about it was that it says that if you stop the diet within five years then any progress that has been made is dramatically reversed in a much more aggressive way than the orginal cancer. She has decided that she has nothing to loose to try it - and feels that if she can start fairly quickly then she would delay the surgery for one month just to see if the diet has any effect. (Supposedly it has been known to work extremely quickly.) There are many testimonials about it - but its difficult to know how unbiased etc they are. If anyone has ANY information at all I would be extremely grateful for the help. I'm seeing her tomorrow lunchtime (Thursday) and would love to have some info by then if possible. She has looked into B17 therapy and int. Vit C infusions, she is on herbal medicines and does EFT and a variety of healing modalities. Sorry for the length, but I hope someone can help R Dow B.Sc(Hons) B.A.(Hons), M.Sc. R Dow B.Sc(Hons) B.A.(Hons), M.Sc.
