I’ve had a paradoxical reaction to withanea in a few patients – where they find it unpleasantly stimulating.  I’m now slightly more wary abuot prescribing it, avoiding it in the kind of patients I wouldn’t give Valarian to.   Has anyone else had this experience?  (I use Rutland’s or Pukka tincture) Firnberg BA(hons) BSc, MNIMH, MCPP – Nutrition and herbal Medicine – Tel: 0E:  sarah@...W: www.sf-naturalhealing.co.uk
