What is energetics? Of what use is it to herbalists today? What do terms such

as; vital spirit, hot & cold, wet and dry, full and empty mean to us?

How do we explore the realm of energetics to our benefit and that of our

patients? Can the insights gained be of practical use?

Hedley will lead a discussion on these issues and talk about how he

uses energetic principles in his practice, illustrated with case histories. The

day will include a tea tasting session. Please bring your ideas and experiences

along to share with us all.

Hedley has been practising and teaching herbal medicine at all

levels, from beginners to MSc, for over 30 years. He has specialised in materia

medica, medicine making and herbal traditions. He is well known for his

inspirational and innovative approach to the subject.
