what on earth is this all about ??!!

The ROSES and HIV

HIV / AIDs and the RosesI have been journeying with the RosesThe following will remove HIV and AIDs from the body. Rose buds / petals – which will best keep it in and get it out?Rosehip grainedBlessed Sloe berriesRed cloverLadies MantleHawthorn berriesFilipendula Raspberry leafYou should include:RaspberryBlackberryApple why not Crab appleMedlarStrawberry - why not but wild it should be but then please to the mouth it be. Quince raw a bit and then in jam or boiled right through as a little raw will help too but lot and it might hurt you.Rowan berries JamMake a fruit saladWillow and Calendula will also but not necessary with the aboveSo a Cure for HIV and AIDs only a little thing and will go soon. So will the rose heal man from HIV and AIDs, yes, but it will not do it alone, no, so let it be the rose hip, will it do it alone, no, so let it be the Sloe berries, and will it do it alone, no, so let it be the hawthorn, so will it do it alone, no, so let it be the red clover, so will it do it alone, no, so let it be the ladies mantle, so will it do it alone, no, so let it be the filipendula, so will it do it alone, no, so let it be helped by the raspberry leaf and fruit, so will it do it alone, yes, and let it be helped by the quince, and let it be helped by the crab apple and the apple, and let it be helped by the blackberry and let it be helped by the medlar, and let it be helped by the rowan, and let it be helped by the strawberry – why not includeAnd the dew berry and the juneberry I have not found them yet can you? And please give them my love. And please get picking for one and all as you know what its like when the season has passed then we are done for as far as this goes so pick the rowan when she is here, the same for the crab the blackberries and raspberries too and all of the fruits so here's what to do use preserves all the way through and even in alcohol for a few but not the rowan as it will poison you (a little bit of belly ache).I am not going into how it works find out for yourselves. Use it and free the world of HIV. I might write further about this later I was going to write fully but I have been so got at I am exhausted. And also but not necessary is:WillowWill also kill it outright. And so will Asprin but when there is willow why use this I'd say. But now Aspirin is my cure so they are not allowed to use this at all by the copyright laws so if they do use to remove HIV they will be sued as I found it and that is true. And others too. So as to this cure it is ours no one can use if they are not a herbalist. And of good heart. And rights will be removed if they are not without reason given. I'm talking only of serious misdemeanours. (Like not picking herbs!). Those involved negatively with the pharmaceutical agents are not allowed to use it sell it pass it on or anything else. It cannot be made up or used or sold by the pharmaceutical companies - or herbal companies without permission.Essentially no one may sell or use it under a product licence. And it must be made up by a herbalist or authorised practitioner. It cannot be sold as a mix or product or cure to any individual unless under a herbalist or authorised practitioner for the obvious. It has to be made up by the herbalist in their own home or practice. Doctors cannot use it without my permission though the Anthros have my sympathies. The above applies always in all circumstances unless otherwise agreed by me and if I am shot well to my suitable colleagues. Basically this is ours and is protected by law no one else can use it without permission and we should do the same with all our medicines.

A pretty bizarre post in any event.

Sorry, I don't know them, and their yahoo profile is singularly unhelpful.

They're gone now.

Unfortunately the full email address is not visible on the email I received but

the only person I remember who had an address beginning 'freeandwilful' was

Verge who has made a lot of postings in the past on this list and is

presumably still a member.

If it was your posting , please do say so.

I don't want to get into discussion about the content of the posting itself, but

surely we should be prepared to identify ourselves if we have something to say

on this Forum. During the short time I was on NIMH Council, I realised that the

NIMH Forum had a huge number of 'members' who were either non-members, spammers,

or other users who were not identifiable because of their inscrutable email

addresses. I thought this was a serious security issue and tried without success

to gain support from Council to sort it out. It was one of the many factors

which ultimately led to my resignation from Council and from NIMH itself - it's

so blimmin unprofessional!

Best wishes

There was a misunderstanding about the NIMH forum, as there were two levels of membership. (I was facilitator at the time) Unfortunately the board had been set up to allow anybody to register on it.,by the website builders, and thus allowed the "spambots" which roam the web to become "members" BUT the forums themselves were strictly NIMH members only (Each member had to be verified and admitted by myself - quite a painstaking process - and the remaining, mostly automated registrations removed) (This was a slow process, but at no time was there any access to the actual forums by anybody other than members)ie, only members could post, and only members could read posts.Sally OwenHiI agree. Sorry Sally, I should have made it clear that the fault was due to the website

developers, about whom the less said the better. I was just disappointed that,

once the problem came to light, there was a lack of support or interest in

sorting it all out and calling the website company to account. Whether these

non-members could post or not, member names/email addresses, which in some cases

bordered on the pornographic, were visible to any Forum member who wanted to

look at the member list. Not a good look at all.

And sorry everyone, I know this isn't a NIMH Forum but I thought I should speak

up. It's such an important issue and one which affects not just this Forum.

Seems to happen all too easily.

All the best

Anne, just looked in the archives - you're right about the 'freeandwilful' address. IF it is the same person, at that time, I think we ended up creating an enemy there by stifling challenging debate and removing her from the list . Dear Henriette

I didn't know had been removed from the list, though I remember the

discussion which no doubt caused her removal. However this message got there,

it's a bit worrying. If anyone knows her personally maybe they could make

contact and find out?

To me it sounds like the ranting from comedian Tim Michin in his 'poem' Storm. It really seems that this forum has been hacked, is there something that we could do to prevent this kind of intrusions? I think that we must come up with a way to protect the privacy and confidentiality of these posts, otherwise it'd be risky and even unethical to discuss any real patient's problems here.

I don't think her account has been hacked, she posted just now on a different

site, the account belongs to a herbalist.

Has she been de-listed from this site? If so, for what reason?

Not that i agree particularly with her free form posting (which was poetic) but

i often don't agree with the things people post here but don't want to have them

kicked off.

( & i'm sure many people wouldn't mind if I was kicked off come to think of it!)

I dont really think its a matter of agreeing or disagreeing with the posting ( not sure if any one would agree with it anyway surely) but this is the stuff of quackbusters dreams - someone saying they have the cure for aids and must only be used by herbalists ???!!!!

My immediate assumption was that it was genuine not hacked, but from someone going through a grandiose manic phase. She wouldn't be the first herbalist to do that! But it's tricky for the moderators to deal with if so. Perhaps a suspension of the account rather than a permanent exclusion?

yes but this site is for herbalists of all shades & beliefs, not for

quackbusters. There is a presumption that posts are between us as herbalists,

otherwise it would not be ethical to talk over patient problems here.

Members should feel free to post whatever they feel is appropriate, the rest of

us can ignore the postings/argue or otherwise engage if we feel moved to do so,

we don't have to believe it or share it.

she may have felt genuinely moved to share what she felt was a radical piece of

information - who are we to judge & exclude her based on this one post?

HiAnd is this presumption correct - that we are all herbalists? It would, of course, help if people did not post anonymously. Nathalie, the original email was totally incoherent gibberish, either a spoof or hijacked identity - it happens a lot on Internet. Or a very bad trip on something not very herbal...As it was not signed by the owner of the address, who already had been excluded from the list for sound reasons long time ago, it is HIGHLY unlikely that it was genuine. It falls into the same category as the emails from Nigeria asking you for your bank details i.e. somebody is having you on! Just ignore it, like, I hope, you would ignore an email from Nigeria...Random hacking into internet groups happens occasionally, nothing to be paranoid about.
