Guest guest
Tami, I have been told that the water will flush fat out quicker. Ever since I have started rinking a lot more water each day, my weight loss seems to be a lot more. I was losing 2 lbs a week and now it has gone up to 4 lbs a week. And I do see when I don't drink as much water, I don't lose as much. Hope this helps, I am not sure how much your supposed to drink. Water is probably the only thing I drink all day, I drink around 4-5 quarts of it a day. And yes, I do spend the majority of my day in the bathroom. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Tami- There's a website that has lots of good info on water. Click on " Why is water so important? " when you get there. http://www.geocities.com/cng091877/mermaids.html I'm not drinking quite as much water as this website recommends on a daily basis, but I am drinking 8-10 8 oz. glasses a day, and I think it makes a big difference in my energy level, and even how my skin looks! Good luck! Amyzan > I've been on WW for over 2yrs and have finished my weight loss and > maintained it. I never drank the water to do this. Guest guest
That would be nice...I wish we had that. I do team teach with another person two periods, so I can sometimes sneak out then...but usually we're teaming in different classrooms. We have an at-work WW program. We all sort of cover for each other's potty breaks. Jen ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maximus T. Guest guest
I'm probably opening a can of worms here. But, what is the benefit of water over, say, diet soda or tea? Besides the caffeine, I know. so, what are the benefits of water over caffeine diet soda? Besides the aspertine, if you can't drink that? I am under goal; the other day a friend called me " scrawny. " I drink water; but have a hard time drinking the required amount and prefer, I confess, diet soda. Guest guest
Well, I find that the various chemicals in diet soda aren't as refreshing to my body as the water. Look at the sign on the side of a can of soda. I do like it, though, as it satisfies my need to have something sweet without calories. I don't know, it's just unnatural. I am exercising a lot and I've gotta have cool water...I think my body would rebell if i drank just sodas. If you're under goal, though, why are you concerned about it? Don't like the taste of water? .. But, what is the benefit of water > over, say, diet soda or tea? Besides the caffeine, I know. so, what are > the benefits of water over caffeine diet soda?
