Guest guest
Hello all, I have been asked by a doula (I have given talks to her pre-natal groups in the past) for help with one of her ladies. She had a previously very traumatic first birth, ending in a caesarian and a post-partum haemorrhage. She's having a home birth this time round, with the doula assisting - but she is worried about haemorrhaging again. They wanted to ask about specific herbs for prevention - but will come for a full appointment to see how herbs can help. Does anyone have experience of this? I am particularly concerned about how to time any herbs given, as I feel strong astringents will affect the delivery if given too early.
