Guest guest
Dr has a very complex polypharmacy recipe for clearing heavy metals. He suggested groups of herbalists make it together, each bringing some of the herbs as there were so many, don't remember all of them, but burdock was in there and maybe mullein and wormwood. i expect it is in his " school of natural healing " book. Guest guest
Hi Jacqui, there may be excess of chromium as well. I wonder if non-herbal chelation would help, the subject has been discussed intensively in the past and there is a lot of info in the archives.Hope it helps To: ukherbal-list Sent: Wednesday, 20 June 2012, 13:51 Subject: Cobalt Excess after Hip Replacement Hi All Interesting case in the clinic today, who has excessive cobalt levels in the blood due to a hip replacement. We were a bit flummoxed but gave him some herbs to try whilst investigating further. Are there any herbs specifically for cobalt excess or supplements that any of you are aware of that would be useful, obviously his hip replacement is always going to be there continually building up excess cobalt levels. Best wishes Jacqui (on behalf of my colleague Sue Koten)
Guest guest
Hi re the hip replacement - is it one of the ones which have featured heavily in the news this year? Metal/metal prostheses which are leaking microscopic metal fragments into the bloodstream? I have a colleague/patient who has one and has had signs of liver stress (principally yellow sclerae and elevated enzymes) for almost two years. Mainstay of treatment is milk thistle and yellow dock, with occasional forays into taking chlorella also taking chelated mineral supplements - managed to reduce both scleral yellowing and liver enzymes significantly. > > Hi Jacqui, > there may be excess of chromium as well. Guest guest
Hi All and thanks for the replies. Gives us a good place to start. Which chelated minerals would be beneficial?? And it also got me thinking, I have a patient with quite yellow sclerae and he has a mouthful of mercury fillings which he cannot afoord to have removed, would that cause the yellowing...I would think so, what do you guys think?? best wishes Jacqui > > > > Hi Jacqui, > > there may be excess of chromium as well. Guest guest
I recently heard about fresh coriander leaf tincture helping to remove mercury. I believe this came from a dentist who specialises in removing mercury fillings. It is supposed to work best when taken with chlorella. Chris Hi All and thanks for the replies. Guest guest
A combination of hawthorn, milk thistle and garlic chelates mercury pretty well and has been investigated by Kerry Bone.
