Guest guest
This is my third day on the Body for Life program and I have read a few places that Vegetarians have trouble on the diet because they take in too many carbs. Here is what I have been eating, any comments on what changes I need to make would be appreciated: Meals: 1. Egg Substitute, whole wheat bagel, tomato 2. Myoplex shake with strawberries 3. Low Fat cottage cheese and green apple 4. Whole wheat bread with soy veggie burger and spinach 5. Baked Potato with Broccoli and soy cheese 6. Brown Rice, shrimp and peas I can eat fish but try to stay away from it. Is there anyway to measure if I am getting too many carbs? I added up my protein for yesterday and it was 140 grams and I weigh 160. Before I started Body for Life I had done weight watchers for a number of years and had lost a ton of weight but always gained it back. Since I started 3 days ago I have gained 3 lbs, is this because I am eating so much more on this program? Any suggestions? Thanks!
