Blast ..

... I've given calendula salve, nettles (as a tea) and liver herbs (as a tea).

She'd do much better, her skin would be in much better shape, and so on, but

if not then not.

Maybe this will reassure the docs that Calendula salve will support their treatment

HiI find that this is a common problem when trying to treat people with cancer. The two main issues are lack of knowledge of the medics and a willingness to give strict instructions of not to take herbs. I have known an oncologist to tell someone not to have acupuncture 'because of the possible interactions'!It would help to have a dialogue with the consultant if that is possible although, in my experience, many patients want to avoid potential conflicts of opinion. They are worried enough about their diagnosis and treatment without running the risk of stirring up a consultant's ego.I find that people either decide to just follow the consultant's advice and perhaps come back to herbs later or decide for themselves and keep their own counsel. The latter is the healthier option, I believe, however it is a personal choice. Certainly, anything which supports the patients can only be a good thing,RegardsDr GascoigneMedical doctor, acupuncturist, herbalistClinics in Bath & Tetbury, UKTel: +44 (0) 79 88 05 92 01Also, Bandon, Co.
