W, " bookmarks disappear " i am not an expert, but mostly self

taught with computers, i had some courses over the years. It sounds

like a mild virus you got, or maybe a trojan virus - it takes

information from the computer and deletes what ever it copies and

takes away. I get the home addition of norton basic virus protection

with a setting for automatic live updates daily, it's about $50 per

year for the subscription, well worth it over the year. You can put

it onto older computers if your operating system is listed on the

package. The basic virus protection package is mostly all i need, it

has medium protection. i usually know when I am attacked by a virus,

norton produces a warning, sometimes i get a freeze up with the anti

virus blocking the illegal action of the virus, in which case i shut

down the programs and restart the computer.

regards Bill
