Hello Lloyd, This belongs to me! I'm responsible for it. Please contact me off list if you'd like any detailed questions about it answered. Currently doing an update mainly for US users. Although we do respond to customer feedback. It should cover everything you need to do as a Herbalist. Designed to be simple to use once you've mastered the basics as Herbalists aren't usually IT experts!Containers a unique total traceability system so you don't have to worry about this aspect. Also full stock management, invoicing etc. covered.Lorraine Lorraine Hodgkinson MRCHMHERBS AND HELPERS6, Butts Fold, Cockermouth,Cumbria, CA13 9HY. I do need a better way to make sure that I am following up clients and need an improved stock control system. I also use bioenergetic treatment equipment which has between 3 and 6 weeks between treatments so follow-up for this also need to be better managed.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Lloyd, the folk who run my website also specialise in building data bases, and supporting small businesses.

Have been working with them for a while figuring ways of running data bases, and various inter-active patient facilities - food diaries, symptom monitoring, feedback forms - this is a bigger on going project.

But they do bolt on bits in a modular way - stock management , mail shot, shopping basket, labels etc. And our very good at customised solutions.

They are very approachable and easy to work with, based in Hackney.

Can i ask a more general question - what sort of followup do people find is beneficial? I try to followup everyone after one week, I normally leave it to people to come back to me to re-book their appointment, but they don't always bother, when I phone them, they often say that they are starting to feel better, and that they will come back to me, I know that if I could work with them for a number of months, the results would be far better,Any suggestions on helping with customer retention and best practices would be appreciated, Warm wishesShobanaNaturopath, Herbalist, Iridologist, Allergy Therapistshobana@...Tel: 07817 415518www.naturepath.co.uk Who uses practice management software? I usually tell clients that full effects of herbal medicine usually won't be experienced until 3-4 weeks so I follow up then. I always say that in the meantime feel free contact me if required. Also allows them time to get to grips with any dietary changes which can add greatly to treatment outcomes.Often effects are experienced from a few days to 2 weeks onwards so it allows me to see how the patient is responding and where we need to go from there. Occasionally some are 'cured' after 3-4 weeks and only require a repeat or follow up for a new condition. Patients need to know you are on their case! Also follow up is easier if they've already experienced significant positive results.LorraineLorraine Hodgkinson MRCHMHERBS AND HELPERS6, Butts Fold, Cockermouth,Cumbria, CA13 9HY. I agree with lorraine - i explain when I go over how to take the precription that we can re assess the situation in (usually )3 weeks and then that gives a chance for the patient to monitor any changes - good or bad - so that I can decide whether the prescription will need tweaking or keeping the same for a while. i always make a folow up appointment with them there and then. patients need to know that success will not come overnight and that you can guide them through the different stages of health improvement. very often if things are going well after the 2nd appointment I tell them I will just make up a repeat prescription for a couple of months and then we can see how thing are.I find that changes often take a couple of weeks so wouldnt really expect much follow up before then but obviously I tell patients they can contact me any time if they ve got questions or concerns.

best wishes ,annette
