Guest guest
Dear HerbalistsHave any of you treated patients with delayed ejaculation? I have had some success with a 40 year old patient with retarded ejaculation of 6 years duration, but am not sorting things out enough and would really appreciate any suggestions. He is NAD from a urological and hormonal perspective. Erections are fine, but he can hardly ever reach orgasm, even when he is by himself. He has responded fairly well to Withania in large doses and very small doses of Vitex. I am currently considering Ginkgo, adaptogens, L-arginine, L-histidine. Any other ideas would be most welcome!Best wishesCraig
Guest guest
Dear Craig, how about Panax, Damiana and Epimedium grandiflorum? The latter is reputed to improve the touch sensation. I would also look at the restoratives to the nervous tissues like Avena, Verbena and Hypericum. And the health of the lower back (nerve compression/injury?). I wonder if there is some psychological issue there as well?Hope it helps To: ukherbal-list Sent: Tuesday, 7 August 2012, 11:31 Subject: delayed ejaculation Dear HerbalistsHave any of you treated patients with delayed ejaculation? Guest guest
HI Thanks. Was thinking of a ginkgo / Panax combined tablet for him, so thanks. There seems to be some sort of legal problem with Damiana in South Africa at the moment, but Epimedium is a great idea – just need to try to source some here. He has been on Hypericum before (no difference), but Verbenas and Avena are good ideas for him, thanksBest wishescraig From: ukherbal-list [mailto:ukherbal-list ] On Behalf Of anna.newton@...Sent: 07 August 2012 12:52To: ukherbal-list Subject: Re: delayed ejaculation Dear Craig, how about Panax, Damiana and Epimedium grandiflorum? Guest guest
I have not treated this, but how about a diffusa? it seems to help switch from sympathetic to parasympathetic, if that is an issue.
