Guest guest
If any of you have friends, family, patients or acquaintances thinking of training as herbalists, you may like to know that the BSc(Hons) Herbal Medicine course in Lincoln will now be delivered via block learning from this September onwards. Therefore attendance for academic modules will be completed via eight three-day weekends per year rather than in the traditional semester-based style. This will be accompanied by increased online support for students studying at a distance. Students will also of course have to complete the customary 500 hours of clinical training. The course has also moved site from Lincoln university to Lincoln college, although it continues to deliver a course validated as a degree by Lincoln university. This has enabled a reduction of fees from the anticipated £9000 down to £6500 per year, alongside a significant improvement in facilities. Students continue to be eligible for student loans. The course otherwise remains the same and will be delivered by the existing team. For more info, see http://www.lincoln.ac.uk/home/course/hermedub/ (this has not yet been updated with details of the block delivery but it should be up there shortly). regards,Robyn (Admissions Tutor at Lincoln) -- Robyn MNIMH
