Guest guest
I know he needs more zinc. Dr. JM recommends the child's weight in pounds, plus 20 while chelating. (For my 60 lb son, we use 80 mg.) HTH- Sue
Guest guest
We supplement far more than this without chelation like 1000 mg calcium, and 30 mg zinc and the list goes on. My son is 32 lb. Somehow these levels sound very low. Also you may want to move to high frequency low dose if you have not done already. I sent blood to MM on the 21st of Feb(6 weeks after) I got some very bad results even though I was supplementing non-stop. Here is what I got: All minerals are on the red and zinc is 3.6 ref.6-11 All toxics are yellow except lead which is high red. Is it possible after 6 weeks his minerals are still low? Is it dmsa that caused this?even after 6 weeks. Here is what I supplement in minerals, daily. Chromium 75mcg zinc 15 molybdenum 75 selenium 50 magnesium 325mg calcium 150mg Can you please help me out here? Did any of you had this expirience? Guest guest
More zinc, selenium, and, taurine could be added. The dan paper has additional doses for chelation days.I would back off a bit until his levels were brought up to a reasonable level. Was a copper level given? Guest guest
We are not actively chelating my son (43 lbs) at this time, but give him 70mg zinc, 1000mg calcium, 600 magnesium and 300mg selenium and molybdenum. My opinion is you need to bump his mineral intake dramatically to re-mineralize him, re-test and if they are normal (or even low-normal) re-start chelation. One of the biggest reasons kids do poorly on chelation is mineral depletion and you might have a positive outcome next time once your child has better levels. Guest guest
And I will say again that the most important mineral to bring up there is magnesium and the best way to do that is through transdermal methods. Sure of course zinc also....and selenium....but everything works better when the body has enough magnesium. Anyone have any experience with Brazil nuts and nutritional yeast?
