Personally I don't like the ready made protein shakes because it's too much for

just a few days vs. protein powder that can last a few months. In shopping for

protein powder, just go for whatever tastes the best. I wouldn't go with the

protein bars. I agree with the popular opinion of the vets on here that they're

" Glorified Candybars. " Some of them are no better than a snickers, and have way

to much sugar in them for my taste.

I might know a place where you could find some affordable protein. Just let your

mouse do the walking if you catch my drift. ;-)

wondering if there are alternatives to the bars? I don't see them in stores

and they seem rather costly. I've used the zone bars but I'm not sure how

What do people think of Clif Builder bars. They are all natural with a good

balance of protein/fat/carbs.

Thoughts?
