Guest guest
Direct him to Hilton Herbs - you can buy their herbal mixes from most feed merchants. The owner, Self, has written a really useful book on herbs, homoeopathy and supplements for horses. www.hiltonherbs.com WE've had horses for over 20 years and various handfuls of 'weeds' have found their way into their feed buckets over the years - fresh and dried. Making sure that his horse has access to healthy meadow with naturally growing herbs will enable the horse to choose more what it eats. Fresh Cleavers, Dandelion and Ribwort are growing in the fields and hedgerows now - take the horse for a walk!!! Boys URHP Herbs and Horses Hi, I had an enquiry from a gentleman today wanting some herbs for his horse, mainly milk thistle, ribwort and cleavers. I informed him that we are not trained in prescribing to animals but would try and get him some information and point him in the right direction, has anybody any ideas or experience. He would like to treat the horse to a tonic ! Frances Deery
