Guest guest
Hi, This is my first post, but I've been reading the list for quite awhile. My son's DDI hair test meets all 3 of the counting rules. 12 inside the green band, 6 yellow and 5 red. Copper is 100, rr 10-30, zinc 210 rr 130-200. I've increased his zinc supplement from 60 mg to about 90 mg/day for the past month. (Was this the right thing to do?) I did not use NAC, though. I just had the DDI packed RBC elements test done. Will that tell me if I got the copper down? Is there anything else I should test for right now? I wanted to begin chelation as soon as school is out. I have " Amalgam Illness " and just wondered if I am missing anything. My son is 14, only about 95 lbs. and had severe ADHD. The gfcf diet helped alot. His lithium, sodium and potassium were also extremely low on the hair test. Thank you all, for all I've learned so far, and for any advice you can give. Am I correct to think that these results indicate Mercury AND copper? Judy

People who don't make enough bile for whatever reason have their body levels of all these things go up. This might be something to check into. Things like milk thistle extract, taurine, glycine and lecithin promote healthy levels of bile flow. > My son is 14, only about 95 lbs. > and had severe ADHD. The gfcf diet helped alot.
