Update on the Krew of Barkus parade

While searching I discovered the Krew of Barkus has a website at

With respect to the parade rouote its at

On the earlier WDSU website the parade starts at 2:00PM.

IF you do decide to come in we could arange to meet. I usually eat at the Gumbo Shop on Sundays.

--------- Mardi Gras Krew of Barkus parade

With respect to Mardi Gras and a previous topic the "Krew of Barkus" parades this Sunday.

This parade is one of the limited number of parades that can still parade in the "French Quarter". As the word Barkus implies it is where dogs are the primary members of the parade. Owners walk the dogs in the parade in the "Quarter".

Of the 6 scheduled parades for today 5 were rescheduled due to being rained out.
