When food has been the drug of choice for so long and we choose to deal with it it takes time not to revert to it for comfort. If you are like me and food is somewhat an addiction then you know what I'm saying. Just start fresh. If you believe in God (maybe I should say whatever God you believe in) pray and turn to Him to comfort you. Meditate also. This clears the mind. People have many ways of meditating my personal fav is to picture Christ in my mind (my God) and repeat His name over and over like some sort of mantra. You absolutely haven't failed because you haven't quit. You've just had a glitch. I think it's normal for what you just went through and survived.
