Guest guest
US Drug Standards Agency (FDA) Taken to Court 25/01/2008 The FDA has been regularly in the press under accusations of having a 'secret' agenda of helping Big Pharma and Big Biotech maintain profits and increase their markets. Now however, Public Citizen are taking them to court in order to force them to to their job. In their own words Public Citizen is a " national, nonprofit consumer advocacy organization founded in 1971 to represent consumer interests in Congress, the executive branch and the courts. " The case in question is antibiotics which contain toxic fluoride. Public Citizen want the dangers of these antibiotics to be listed on the product clearly and in a black box. At the moment the warning is lost in the small print. As such an obvious warning would result in lost sales and law suits, the FDA is refusing to enforce this policy on & ´s and Levaquin and Bayer´s Cipro, the two companies that make and market the antibiotic. The antibiotic results in ruptured and damaged tendons Initially Public Citizen petitioned the FDA to have them enforce the drug companies to make the warning obvious. As the FDA did not heed them, they are now taking legal action Posted by Menzies-Trull www.isisherbs.co.uk
