Guest guest
hi everyone, and happy Easter and happy Passover. went for more xrays and all is looking good. i got a less restrictive cast and the middle and ring finger are taped together, so still not able to type with the right hand. the 2 fractures are stable and the pinky is free and feels normal. supposed to flex into a fist 10x per hour. stiffness already is diminished. next md visit is in 2 weeks. this time i got a pretty pink cast ;-) my customer liked the poem i wrote, so here it is...she plans to read it at her wedding in oct. My Kitties Taught Me How To Love by Strecker 4/3/12 My kitties were my teachers and they taught me many things-- like when to clean the litter box and how to play with strings. They taught me to be careful not to step upon their tails, and that sometimes the furniture got shredded by their nails. Maggie taught me about nap time. Moxie taught me about play; and that I should make time for BOTH every single day. Gentle Maggie taught me patience and to praise her just because she adds beauty to our lives as she walks on velvet paws. From Moxie I learned to speak up. Her voice is rather loud. She follows us just like a dog and entertains the crowd. You wouldn't think it possible but while the cats slept gently they taught me how they listen for their dinner most intently. I also learned that it's no fun to stay angry or to fret. For kitties don't hold grudges after going to the vet. So if we ever argue or have a little spat we'll get over it quickly as taught by our two cats. But most of all our cats taught me that they don't need a reason to love us every single day regardless of the season. So if you find me patient, caring, loving, fun, or sweet-- You have the cats to thank for that. Don't you think that's neat? , you are my one true love... except you'll have to share the part of me that loves the cats who hog your easy chair. thanks for your prayers and good wishes. love, and Steve [the 'right hand man']
