Guest guest
I am very suspicious about the work of Dr. J. Cade. In a study, he claimed he cut gluten out of the diet of schizophrenics and they became cured. I think there were 10 subjects. Schizophrenia has always interested me, but I see no logic in how they may be cured when one cuts gluten out of the diet. Of course, I have heard of schizophrenics who tested positive for diabetes one week and came to the doctor as a different personality the next and did not have diabetes, so who knows? That gluten thing, however, really bothers me. Minc The connection is that mercury blocks the enzyme dipeptal peptidase that is required to digest casein in milk and the similar enzyme needed to digest gluten. So if you eat things with casein or gluten, you end up with incompletely digested and neurotoxic metabolites in the blood, like beta-casamorphine. These are neurotoxic and a lot like morphine and are a factor in conditions like schizophrenia, mania, autism, ADD, etc. The studies were for more than 10 people and they measured the levels of the neurotoxic metabolites in the blood, found before high levels and symptoms, found after CFGF low levels and few symtoms. You can find documentation including other studies and a link in my paper: www.home.earthlink.net/~berniew1/kidshg.html Bernie
