I have seen some do very well with PST and some that didn't get much improvement

with it.

both legs at different times but the owner does not have the finances for

surgery. I haven't seen the dog or the radiographs yet but am looking for some

advice on rehab without surgery.

Is it a young dog? I have had some luck with exercise limitation and cutting the food in half. Chris

If by chance the dog was bought in California and they have had it less than one year they are entitled to the purchase price back from the seller to put towards surgery. Just a thought. (California has the best puppy lemon law in the Union. Wish other state would copy it)

I have no experience with shoulder OCD. I have seen elbow OCD that was not surgically addressed develop into either permanent intermittant lameness or worst case absolutely crippling OA. But I can't say about shoulder.
