Guest guest
thanks to everyone for their thoughts on pHstudy, bronchoscopy etc. I'm not worried about the bronchoscopy as thats with general anaesthetic, it was the reflux pH study I wasn't happy about. they feed a tube down his nose and throat and into the stomach where its left for 24 hrs to test for acid reflux which could be going into the lungs in tiny quasntities and causing the bronchiectasis. Its not a pleasant procedure for a child as theres no sedation and of course its uncomfortable and they're gagging.I found it really hard to watch my daughter go through with it, so this time I've held my ground and may not be popular, but they've agreed that 90% certain the reflux nurse will come over to theatre and put the tube down while he's under for the bronchoscopy. She's not promising but i think they know we won't have it done otherwise. We'll see on tuesday when he has it done. Thanks again.
Guest guest
Our thoughts will be with you and your son.....best of luck for a smooth procedure! Just to let everyone know my naturopathy is still brilliant, I still progressing to the peak of health....I had app'ts last week for a c-scan of my sinuses and I got the results on Thurs...from my Respirologist and finally got to tell her of the great results I'm having the natural way...Just as I thought there is nothing wrong with my sinsuses.....and she was not at all pleased to hear of me attending the Natural Dr....she did say that she could notice a huge improvement in my lungs! hmmmm I wonder why that is????? and that because I stopped the drugs she prescribed that she could no longer treat me....I'm having another c-scan in spring of 2009 I know that by then I will be cured....I told her to think long and hard about treating some of her patients the natural way, as I'm an example of what is possible. She said that they are just starting to look at the natural treatments but it is far off for their use....I said what a shame as the people believe you are Gods. Anyway, I see my Naturuopath on Monday, I'm excited to see what he has next for me... Cheers Good Health to all 24 hr ph study thanks to everyone for their thoughts on pHstudy, bronchoscopy etc.
