Guest guest
Howdy! We are officially launching our homesteading website - www.homesteadlady.com - and wanted to alert anyone we thought might be interested! We're still working hard to build content that's relevant to all aspects of growing home sustainability in little and large ways so we hope you'll take the time to visit and give us suggestions on what you'd like to see in the future. We're hopeful the issues addressed will be helpful to beginners and old hats alike; whether you're growing veggies in mayonnaise jars on your windowsill or producing your own energy with solar panels, we'd love you have you join the site and the dialog! Topics will include things like home dairy animals and products; fruit, veggie and herb growing/using; poultry in all it's wonder; building; lost arts like candle making and spinning; recipes using home grown, organically grown ingredients; holistic nutrition and health; classes for those in Utah; useful links, lists and books for those looking to build their mentor pool since we certainly are not the final authority on any of this stuff. Although we now live on a tiny, one acre suburban homestead, we were raised in cities and know how tough it can be to increase your self sufficiency skills while still living your " regular " life - the reading alone can take a lifetime! We'd like to help with your preparedness/homesteading/self sufficiency efforts by sharing our successes and failures and everything in between. Believe us, if we can do it, you can do it. We also hope to glean from your experiences and encourage you to share on the site when you're inspired to do so. If you have questions, comments, suggestions for posts or anything else you'd like to mention you can reply to this email or on the site itself. (I won't be able to respond in an email unless you're following the site, fyi, but you can always check back for a reply.) Happy Growing!
