Guest guest
Right on the tails of Ron 's GOP Convention rallying cry " You might even be able to drink raw milk [in a free society], " NPR's Morning Edition ran a story about researchers studying Amish farm kids who drink raw milk and have less incidence of allergies than most American kids. Yeah, the doctor had to go on and spout an unscientific " disclaimer " cautioning " against drinking raw milk or serving it to your child [as it] contains too many dangerous, disease-causing bacteria; " but that's probably because his real aim is to try and find the " magic ingredient " in raw milk so he and his buddies can synthesize it in the laboratory (fat chance). It wouldn't do to have people actually try drinking raw milk to get healthier instead of buying his concoction at 100 times the cost. Anyway, if you're interested, the story is at: http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2012/06/11/154593662/to-sniff-out-childhood-alle\ rgies-researchers-head-to-the-farm -- Chrys Ostrander Acting Interim Farm Manager Pine Meadow Farm Center A Charitable and Educational Farm 10425 S.
