Guest guest
I believe I understand the Federal PMO (Pasteurized Milk Ordinance) does not allow the transport of raw milk across state lines. This would have precedence over any state laws. I was surprised when I learned of this fact and I think there are few who know it as to be a law. Some who sell milk may not be aware of the PMO and what it mandates on the Federal level. Fitts www.southerntouchfarm.com
Guest guest
I understood the Federal law was to prevent transporting 'Farm Fresh' milk across state lines for the purpose of selling. Carrying it over state lines for your own consumption wasn't outlawed (yet). Let me know if I've interpreted it wrong or if they've changed the law. Thanks!-- Bill Arlington, VAWmR@...
