Hi Jolanta,I have a real issue with this particular brace... mostly in that I don't believe it braces anything at all! It's a flap of fabric/neoprene over the side of the hip. Perhaps if it was heated, that would make more sense...But I have always felt that this product misses the mark by a long shot. The PEMF coat that Respond makes might be helpful if they are looking for something to use at home.I think you will do far more with your rehab & pain management than this brace ever could!Best of luck!Laurie

Does anyone have any experience with Ortho Dog hip hound brace?

I have 3 yrs. old husky mix with severe bilateral hip dysplasia and rear legs muscle atrophy. Max is very painful. We started his pain management yesterday and he will start his rehab next week. I appreciate your time and comments.

Thank you Laurie for you comments. FYI I watched your video on Assessment Skills. It was very good.I think is great idea to offer on- line continuing education in rehab then fallow with on-site, hands-on training.Thank you.Jolanta________________________________ To: VetRehab Sent: Friday, June 29, 2012 7:12 PMSubject: Re: Hip braceHi Jolanta,I have a real issue with this particular brace... mostly in that I don't believe it braces anything at all! It's a flap of
