I have a client with a Collembola infestation (she has caught the critters on

tape) and is frantic with itching, esp. at night. I have given Quassia chips to

use as infusion/head rinse and spray - anyone any experience dealing with this?

Another potential client this time with Friedrichs ataxia - has heard of a

herbal blend called Defratax available in Italy which supoosedly helps with this

muscle wasting condition. I am unfamiliar with this - again, I'm looking for

ideas.

Thanks

Hi,

One of my patients found Hibiscrub used neat on skin to be helpful. Available

most chemists. Povidone iodine, surgical spirit also useful.

New Scientist article ' The Itch that Wont be Scratched' - interesting details

and DNA test results on Morgellons. Suggestes part fungal, part bacterial.

Psychotic effects, similar to Lyme neurotoxins. Have hard copy of article if

anyone's interested.

Another article cited on this discussion group suggests dilute ammonia as an

effective deterrant.Caroline
