positioning techniques for vestibulitis New York area

HI,I have an owner looking for someone to do positioning techniques on his standard poodle diagnosed with vestibulitis last Monday. He was referred to me but I don't really do this -- I saw Steve Steinberg do it once and I did try it once on a dog but it didn't work (and my staff all thought it was a joke). Apparently (this owner told me) it is a standard technique that human PTs do. He is located in NYC but weekends in NE PA or NJ -- anyone who knows how to do this in that region? The dog is already improving so I told him I " m not even sure it would help at this stage?
