questions about companion lasers

I am very new to lasers, and have the Companion LAser company coming tomorrow to

do a demonstration for our clinic. I am seriously interested in purchasing a

laser - and this is our first demo of 2-3 set up.

We are going to be doing a BLACK cat.

I know the black fur has to be set differently. Do I have to worry about it with

the companion laser - or is the machine set up to do it automatically when set

in fur color? Please help with this .

Second - does any one know if a laser can be used on a healing hematoma surgical

site? Surgery was done by an associate 12 days ago, and now it is swollen and

blood filled around the sutures. We are draining it manually and it is improving

- but since I have the laser tomorrow - why not?
