Mutant Mosquitoes Coming to Florida?

Dear Friend,

I just sent a letter to Governor asking him to oppose a plan to

release lab-created mosquitoes into Florida's environment.

A company called Oxitec wants to release tens of thousands of these

mutant mosquitoes to kill natural mosquitoes that carry dengue fever.

But the state of Florida didn't have ANY dengue fever cases in 2011!

Worst yet, these mosquitoes have not been tested for potential new

allergies or new diseases they could carry in mutated form.

Please help stop these genetically engineered insects from coming to

Florida!
