Guest guest
Hello fellow EN members, I am in my late 60's, and am delighted to find this EN Group. Have EN 1 1/2 yrs., and seen a number of doctors, including my Dermotologist who diagnosed it. He suggested a 'possible' Biopsy' but I have a rare Blood condition, 20 yrs, and asked my Hemotologist. She did not jump to recommend that, especially since I have a very low white count, & this was optional. She did not see a connection to my Bone Marrow disorder. Also I cannot take Anti-inflammatories, or Aspirin. Showed Diabetic doctor (My Glucose count is always NORMAL). He's seen EN, but it's usually from " something else " ), and Gynecology Nurse (She's seen it on women Post-Menapause - lowered Estrogen. Yet, I take Estrogen.) The spots do not hurt me, except if I press my finger on them. Have become concerned because one is getting darker. Began using a dermatologic cream, " Triamcinolone, (prescription) used for face blemishes from my B-pap Air Machine. The Spots are lighting. Yet, this does not address the CAUSE, and SPECIFIC TREATMENT. Read many comments on SteadyHealth.com, and am encouraged that some people find relief. Is there Treatment solution MANY find success with? Checked out Dapsone, but it has a risk of red blood cell Anemia, as a rare side-effect. I already have Bone Marrow Anema, so not for me! Thank you, Website owner, as I don't feel alone any longer. I take very good care of myself, and scheduled app't. with new Internist tomorrow, hoping to find answers for healing. I'd appreciate any responses. 1EN
