Tinctured herb left overs

I pressed out some clove and ginger tinctures a couple of weeks ago

and they both smelt really strong still(and the tinctures were knock

out!) so I decide to make wine with the left over pressings. They

both look and smell great, fermenting vigorously.

Has any one else done anything similar?
