Hi Gursewa

I think it may be important to exclude any other causes of spotting, like

cervicitis for example. ask about odour etc. You don't mention the age of

your patient either. That does not sound like a " normal " event with fibroids

to me.

Hi,

thanks to all who replied regarding my fibroid question. We've found the

culprit - it appears the extra bleeding is being initiated by the gigh dose of

serrapeptase the patient is on - as soon as she stops this the spotting stops as

well. This enzyme does appear to have quite a significant anti-coagulatant

effect inhigh doses. She is going to try a lower dose and then try nattokinase

instead.
