Guest guest
I agree most wholeheartedly with your comments. However, I do want to use girth measurements as one of the only partially objective findings I can use to set goals for progress over time. I could also write down such goals as 'to stand on 12 inch raised surface for 2 minutes unaided by 4 weeks' or 'can perform 5 unaided sit-stands using proper sit position by 4 weeks' or various other end points; I was hoping to use girth measurement as a more all-encompassing end point. And in fact I am using the mini-goals as well. I like these goals because it gives owners something to strive for. That being said, it is an 11 yr old 58# golden with hind limb girth measurements of 25 cm bilaterally Thanks, Mike > > > ** > > > > > > A simple question I hope: I have a dog with significant generalized mm > > atrophy of the hind limbs from bilateral ACL repairs done the past 6 months > > on whom I will be starting to work.
