Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this info Liz. I'm not familiar with vaginal P. Is it the same cream used vaginally or a different form? I have had success with kinesiology in the past so I trust it to a certain degree. My fall and spring allergies have been much relieved through it and allergy desensitizing. And, you're right, I have to listen to MY body/brain/heart! I'll experiment with the P for now. Last two nights were not horrible and I'm committed to getting off all these hormones including the E. Hopefully my adrenals are healing to the point that I can do that. I've started taking two adrenal glandulars and do feel good on them. If you worry about your uterus, why not try the vaginal P? I am a believer in Kinesiology to a point but I find for me it's not 100% accurate. I've been tested on the Bio Meridian machine on the same day by 2 totally different drs and got conflicting info. If the P bothers you, your body is telling you something. If it worked, you should feel good. I tried pushing my way through the WP and had disastrous results. I did the same thing 10 years ago, pre hyst, with compounded P. Same thing. Disaster! I'm not trying to scare you just suggesting that YOU to listen to YOUR body and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise :):) Warmly,Liz ___________________________________ www.ojaipaintedminis.com From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ] On Behalf Of J Sent: Friday, April 11, 2008 9:11 PMTo: rhythmicliving Subject: RE: No Progesterone Got me in trouble Hi Liz, D & C and LEEP went well and pathology came back clear! Thanks for asking! I'm still in a quandry about using P at all and from this last experience I know I can't just juse E. I just had a session with my Allergy elimination/kinesology practitioner and my muscle testing indicated that I should use a half teaspoon of P nightly. Yikes! P always gives me night heat which is why I stopped using it in the first place. I'm going to try the 1/2 teaspoon tonight and see if I survive! Yes, I am saying that about using E and P, IF the P is transdermal cream. This was my mistake. My understanding is that the vaginal P will target the endometrium. I don't know what to say about using E and no P and getting uterus cancer, though, I think it is a fact this could happen, but who knows how much you would need to use? Are you saying that even though using E and P that you still have to monitor the lining? And, are you saying that using E without P could cause cancer? My GYN, in addition to being pissed off at me for doing E without P, mentioned today before my D & C something about using another "type" of P (I had tried Prometrium and a compounded cream). My other doc, who is taking care of my thyroid/adrenal/sex hormones altogether, feels that I can tolerate a cream starting with a tiny amount and increasing slowly. My thoughts right now are to trash this whole hormone thing, use herbs/supplements and tough it out with the night heat which was my only reason for starting this whole sex hormone thing in the first place! I'm also going to keep reminding (for anyone new that might not read the archives) that just because one uses transdermal P, don't think you're safe. I got endometrial cancer (age 39) while using prescription compounded P as directed (2 weeks each month). Always keep an eye on your lining. Bleeding every month does not guarantee anything. I'm having a D & C tomorrow because my lining is now 13mm after 6 months dosing E by symptoms and not using any P. I wasn't using P because every time I did I was up with night HEAT! Night heat was the only reason I originally went on the E in the first place! Since I had a sonogram this past summer and the lining was fine, I thought all was going well. NOT! A new doc I consulted with has me slowing adding and increasing P, using only 1mg P/day and adding 1 mg every few days. I got up to only 3mg and the night Heat started again!! EEEKKK.....he said, go back down to 1 and increase even more slowly. He feels that if I go slowly I will be able to tolerate it. If anyone is using just E without building the lining I'd love to know what you're taking and how much! Janet Windows Live Hotmail is giving away Zunes. Enter for your chance to win.
