Guest guest
Hi Fellow Raw Milk Drinkers, I am Donna Voetee, nike5855@..., Lockhart (BBQ Capital) of Texas. A native Californian, formerly of Long Beach, Riverside, and Hesperia. For a year, I worked with the Hero of All Raw Milk Drinkers, of Organic Pastures Dairy. He brought cases of gorgeous qt bottles of ice-cold raw milk to my door every Monday so I could distribute them to my clientele. I am a health counselor, Doctor of Naturopathy, and one of my goals is to see everyone eschewing 'white cow liquid' and drinking Real Milk. We moved to Texas because my daughter and SIL moved here and took the grandkids with them (!), and the first time I went to the store to buy some buttermilk, I was in tears. Real buttermilk does NOT have "modified food starch." So I got in touch with the local chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation and linked up with Stryk Dairy. Bob and Darlene Stryk run the family farm and are licensed by State of TX to sell Grade A Raw Milk. See their site: www.texascheese.com Since 2007, I have been the Milk Lady of Lockhart, hosting a delivery every week, serving about 60 families. It is 'mostly' legal. It's a gray area that the inspectors have not clamped down on, by the grace of God. You can see a bit of my story in the Acres USA March issue of 2011. The article was, "Raw Milk: The White Market."
