Guest guest
A good site for state by state and other information on Raw Milk. http://www.realrawmilkfacts.com Outbreaks And Illnesses from Raw and Pasteurized Milk And Dairy Products, 1998-Present Apr 29, 2012 by Real Raw Milk Facts Tables were compiled by the Real Raw Milk Facts working group through searches of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) online foodborne disease outbreak database (1998-2009). Because the CDC database has about a two-year lag period, preliminary data was gathered from government and dairy industry press releases, reports, and newsletters to document recent outbreaks (2010-present). Information on farm type and size was taken from the implicated dairy’s website, when available. Guest guest
Interesting. Is that total illnesses and deaths compared exactly between pasteurized and raw ? I really do not understand the higher outbreak but less illness for raw but lower outbreak and higher illness for pasteurized. The illness numbers no one can really get around, but outbreaks is another one as it can be " manufactured " by overzealous beating up on an industry. It looks strange to me, it is either wrong or more disturbingly may point to literally ten folds of false accusations that does not manifest in illness. Guest guest
You do know this is Marler 's website, the nation's leading law firm for food poisoning. Their site is very biased against raw milk. Interesting that on their flier for parents, they state that raw milk is too risky for babies, and that many foods, like kefir and yogurt, are available at the store that are " very safe to feed children " , when their numbers show that raw milk deaths occur 1 in 1,064 illnesses but deaths attributed to pasteurized milk/products occur once in every 696.5 illnesses. Am I analyzing this correctly?
