Guest guest
Buyer-beware of these units. A little tid-bit after reading their literature and meeting them at the booths at the veterinarian conferences. The wavelengths of Erchonia 635nm (good for skin wounds) and ML830 830nm (a little deeper penetration at this wavelength). In the 900s is more deeper penetration. I am not sure if these units always deliver pulsed or continuous and if you have a choice to choose. Erchonia laser power is 5mw-15mw (very low) and ML830 90mw (low). Other class 3b lasers like Chattanooga (850nm and 1-2 W) and Grady (~1-4W). I am not sure of the wavelength of the Grady unit. There is a lot to research and make sure that you do just that…research. Do your own Comparisons amongst the units that are on the market so that you will get the laser that suits your needs. Hope this helps. Guest guest
I tried one years ago and was unimpressed with power and wavelength. Especially since I was mostly equine use. Additionally, it was super easy to turn on when unintended, not safe enough for me in that regard. There are so many other options these days, I would also recommend buyer beware. Guest guest
, You stated the Chatanooga Laser and the Grady Laser as a class 3b laser with a power of 1 to 2 watts and 1 to 4 watts respectively. Did you intend to say Class 4 lasers? ph A. DeLucia DVM, CCRP Director of Rehabilitation Services- Valley Animal Hospital 1171 Valley Road Clifton, New Jersey 07013 ext. 303 drd@...
