Pacing on treadmill

I wanted to try and start a discussion about gaits on underwater treadmill.

I have had two patients that have both had suspected FCE. Both progress from

hemiparalysis (hind) to walking albeit not a normal gait. During recovery period

these patients seem to develop a ipsilateral pace on treadmill. I've tried

several things; lowering water, changing pace, play objects.

My question is should I be concerned if this occurs while patient is gait

patterning during recovery? Any other suggestions on why they do this and

should I try to stop it?
